Millie's dad says: Millie came to live with us when she was seven weeks old and has been bringing us joy and gladdening our hearts ever since. When we went to visit her litter she pushed her way to the front of the pen and demanded our undivided attention, which she has continued to do ever since. Millies favourite things in life are roast chicken, playing with other pups, wallowing in mud, and sleeping. She is a star student at puppy obedience school when the mood takes her! She is a typical goldie -- extremely friendly and good-natured.

Thoroughly marvelous Millie. I know everyone says this, but it was very hard to pick out one favorite photo of this gorgeous girl. She is stunning. I'm just a sucker for a sleeping pup with, what we call in our house, her eyes slammed shut.
It is true that there is nothing in this world cuter than a Golden Retriever puppy, and I'm not at all biased with my Golden sleeping here beside me :)

Who couldn't love a pup like this? The picture of her asleep in her cage shows absolute trust. We should all have such trusting hearts--or, better yet, be worthy of such trust! Goldens are wonderful dogs. Give her all the love she deserves; she'll repay you a million times over!

Millie's a winner - too lovely really. I love my Boston to pieces, but I do have a very soft spot for Goldens - real dogs, gentle as and big enough and devoted enough to save you in an emergency . I love this pic as I am so jealous of how chilled out dogs can get -- lesson to be learnt there for sure. But I also love the one with her handbag. Enjoy her Millie's dad and congratulations!
What is it about puppies sleeping on their backs with kinky necks?? Do they KNOW it's totally cute? Do they practice when you aren't looking? She is amazing. A perfect example of golden-ality. Hope you all have a lifetime of happiness.

She sleeping on Buchanan plaid! That's a strong heritage for a beautiful puppy! I had to pick this picture since I am a Buchanan, but another favorite is the one where she is all wet! She looks so fun and intelligent. Enjoy her!

Oh! One more comment. Has anyone else noticed how both Golden Labs and Retrievers seem to be getting lighter & lighter (almost white!) in color?

Look at that adorable little black nose! What a sweetheart. There is nothing like a golden puppy with their little plump bellies and their goofy curiosity. My golden is 4 now, but she's still my puppy! Millie is precious! Have fun!!

I have a retriever as well, and they are the best natured dogs you can find. All you need to do is love them and ensure they have plenty of toys to carry around.

I have a one year old yellow lab and I just think labs/ retrievers are the best dogs ever. They are so kind and good natured. I just LOVE Millie's sweet and kind face, are there words that really describe how cute and snuggly she is. She is so fluffy and adorable, i just want to snuggle with her all day long. i love the pic of her with her dad. Oh my, what a precious pup Millie is! I have loved this breed all my life but have never been fortunate enough to have one for a companion. Almost did when my daughter moved to a townhouse & needed someone to adopt a black adult male that she had rescued from the shelter. Someone had left him at the cattle sale main arena along with another older retreiver, female. Can you imagine anyone parting with these wonderful canines. Maybe they just were too poor to feed them. Anyway, we have a GSP & my husband said no to another large dog in the house. I was heart broken & seriously considered a divorce (smile, just kidding). Anyway, he went to the home of a retired KY state Trooper & wife who adore, adore him & he has a safe, loving home. My husband just got out of the doghouse a few weeks ago. Ha Ha.

OH! She's SO beautiful! I have a Golden mix but her face is mostly Golden- those eyes get me EVERY TIME- it's amazing how much emotion these puppies put out through their eyes... You can just see how happy and content Millie is! Lucky dad!

Well, I noticed that lots of people called Millie gorgeous, and that was absolutely the first word that sprang to my mind, too! She's so fluffy and cute, and you can tell she's gonna be beautiful later! I wonder if her fur will darken as she grows up... she's so white now, like our yellow lab was, but it's a good thing we didn't name him "Whitey"(as a a joke) because he's no longer white at all except on his belly! Lovely color right now, though. Millions of biscuits for such a sweetie!

I always wonder what my Kirafiki looked like when he was a puppy...he's golden and chow...I got him from the humane society when he was about 2 1/2...I bet he looked a lot like this (just yellower and a bit fuzzier)...I think he has been in nearly every pose as in Millie's pics, I can't pick a favorite (but the cage is crazy cute!!!) Millie is a classy looking girl! Gorgous,yes, very true to her breed. Besides that, she is full of beans. Love the way they can sleep anywhere and just r e l a x... yes we should take a lesson from dogs. My dog just flops anywhere and snores! It's a great trait.
