Mimi's Puppies Part Two
Mimi's neighbor says: Mimi's family runs a nail salon near Atlanta, Georgia, and Mimi and Casper have been in the nail salon since they too were puppies. All the customers love to visit with the dogs and now their pups. The owners are keeping two of the puppies and the other two are going to family members out of state. The puppies love all the attention they receive at the nail salon as much as the customers love giving it. There's nothing more relaxing than a pedicure and cuddling up with a cute, warm puppy... Did Mimi have a hard time having these babies?
LONG time ago , I had a Chi and this takes me back to those times .
Now I am raising Yorkies & Maltese and those sweaters would be so great to have for my little B.B. ( he's 8 weeks old and 1.4 lbs. )
I have been having the most cr**py morning and when I clicked on these pix my whole day brightened. Love the pink toenails!! They are the most appealing puppies I've seen in a long time. Everyone who comes in contact with them is very lucky! Thank you so much for sharing.
Next time I'm driving through Atlanta, I'm making a stop at your salon for a pedicure and puppy cuddles!
Oh - to PJ - you have no idea what you are talking about! Both of my chis wear shirts and sweaters, and sometimes jackets - it keeps them warm. Their Vet recommends dressing them.
OH AND this is to PJ: I'm sorry but, you don't know what you are talking about! :P

My fave little guy is in the pastel pinky/purple/aqua one. Just so full of personality! luv-em all!!!!!!!!!! ;-)
Oh, and PJ: I used to be very anti-putting-sweaters-on-dogs as well, but recently I learned that some dogs, especially small dogs like these, or short-haired and slim dogs like greyhounds, actually need some sort of clothing to maintain a comfortable temperature. Just like people have some body hair but not enough to keep us warm without comfy clothes, some dogs just don't have enough fur on their bodies to keep them from freezing when there's a bit of chill in the air.
To PJ: Lighten up! The dogs are wearing sweaters,not burning hot armor. Some small dogs do get cold so their owners might put them in sweaters/coats. The fact that they look adorable is a plus.
Oh, by the way PJ - Lighten up. Certain small breeds (like chihuahuas) are sensitive to cold weather conditions and putting a functional piece of clothing on them to keep them more comfortable is, in my opinion, something a responsible dog owner should do.
I do agree that sometimes dog clothing can go a little too far, but for the most part , I think [u]functional[/u] clothing for your particular breed of dog is fine.
And the look of love on Mimi's face in the 3rd pic just grabs my heart.
All the puppies are just as cute as buttons and they look so cute playing together.
