Rommel is a fun-loving pup who is growing rapidly! He loves to meet new people and other dogs. He is eager to learn new tricks and will gladly accept treats in the process. His favorite things are ice cubes, tennis balls, and any stuffed toy he can thrash around. Walks and exploring are also favorite activities.

What a cute little mug! I love Rotties. I've never owned one, but when I volunteered at a shelter, it always amazed me how CALM they were! While a 60 lb. Shepherd mix would be bouncing all over the place when you took them out, a 100 lb. Rottie would simply stroll slowly out as if to say, "So we're going out? Okay, that's cool." :-)

Hello everyone, thanks for checking out our puppy! Although I feel some of you might be a little misinformed about the name. Erwin Rommel was a Field Marshall in the Nazi Army. However he hated and despised Hitler. He was killed by Hitler for plotting against him. He was a great leader and tactioner, who's methods are still used today in Armies all over the world. He was highly regarded for his treatment of prisoners, including the Jewish ones. You should do a little googling and check it out. It's an interesting story. I have spent six years in the US Army and picked his name because of the military significance. It's unfortunate people are misinformed and I even have to explain that we do not support any form of pro Nazi agenda just based on a puppies name. Thanks again for checking our puppy out!

Note to all people: as the dog's owner says, Rommel was not a Nazi. He was a regular German Army (Wehrmacht) Field Marshal and is one of the most admired WWII Officers; he was not an SS officer. He was renowned for his genius (although with a penchant for risks) and his stellar performance in North Africa and France.
He was known for decency in treating prisoners as well as in the treatment of his own men (unlike some officers on various sides) - as Voiken ( the owner) points out he treated Jewish prisones well, once tearing up an order to shoot Jewish prisoners. Because of the chivalry on both sides the North African conflict was called 'the war without hate'. He only got away with his refusal because of his outstanding abilities and daring.
He supported the plot against Hitler and when he was arrested he chose to commit suicide rather than be tried (and probably executed) as being tried could have allowed the Nazis to go after his family. RIP Erwin Johannes Eugen Rommel.
Note to folks: this is why you should be civil, and why you should not assume you know what you are talking about.
This dog is also extremely cute and is doubly distinguished by having an awesome name. Go history!
he is so adoreable. I had one i was little they are good dog. he stayed by me and my sister side when we was little but shortly after he got a bone disease and we had to put him down.
