I remember my old dog Amber, a german shepherd, sitting on my lap when she was a puppy. Someone walked by and mentioned how big her ears were and it never dawned on me how big they really were and this picture reminds me of that day. Your pup will definitely grow into these. Sage is gorgeous! It will be fun just watching him grow into those ears! I guarantee you many years of adventures. If you've never had a GSD before, you'll be amazed at how quickly they absorb everything and how easily they train. Make sure and get him in puppy kindergarten and start that training right now! He'll love it and it will also help him socialize with other dogs. You'll have fun too! Good luck.

Sage is absolutely gorgeous! Many years ago, I have a female German Shepherd that looked exactly like him. She lived for 14 1/2 of the best years of my life and was the most wonderful dog ever. This is such a gentle and intelligent breed. They are so good with children and women. Our's also loved my husband but he definitely came after myself and our kids. I love Sage's ears and the fact that they are standing so beautifully already. Look how big they are? They grow into their ears so imagine how big a boy he's going to be!!! I'm envious -- wish I could have another one someday and who knows...............

What a smile! If I can reincarnate as a dog, it would have to be as a GSD. I've had a smooth coat and a Shilo - long haired. I'ved them both and miss them. Sage reminds me of my Zack.
