I guess it didn't take my earlier comment so I will try again. I had a dog named "Fluffy" growing up who we rescued from the pound. We never knew what breed he was until we saw Sam's picture. He is the spitting image of Sam! I am showing everyone his picture this morning. My sisters in Pennsylvania were thrilled and it brought back so many good memories. Fluffy provided us with 18 years of love and I hope that Sam does that for you!

Oh my gosh!! He is irresistible!! We just got our first puppy back in August. She is a golden retriever and turned 10 mos yesterday. We briefly considered a Ber. Moun. Dog but went with the Golden and have and love Ella a TON!! But looking at these pix makes me wish i'd been a dog(not just a cat) lover for all these many years. I'm 48 and by the time Ella moves on to the next realm i'll be almost 60, maybe too old for another large dog...:} but maybe not or maybe we need to get a little bmd puppy bro or sis for Ella. Of course we'd need to get a bigger house too...oh well Have a blast!! Aren't dogs the BEST!!??

Our Bernese is one year old now - it goes by sooo fast and he still looks at me like that - almost makes you want to cook him a TBone Steak and say "here you go honey, another one will be waiting when you're done" - millions and millions of biscuits for this little guy and give him a hug for me - he'll still think he's a lap dog when he gets older :)
