After the love of our lives, Sassy the Second, a husky-corgi mix, passed away of cancer, my family and spent about a year coming to grips with her loss. We talked about getting another dog, but Mom was always resistant, and I still had a few months until I graduated with my master's degree and would have place of my own. Then, one day, I got a phone call: "Guess what I've got." Sassy literally latched on Mom (and Dad and I, one by one), and ever since (can it only be a month?!), her antics and smarts have kept us on our toes and in stitches. She's the most lovable brat I've ever known!

Awwwwwwwwwwww Sassy I'm so in love with you. You are absolutely gorgeous. Zillions of biscuits and millions of hugs and the biggest cuddle ever. Sorry about Sassy 2, but I'm glad Sassy 3 is with a lovely family. Have a long and healthy life sweetheart with plenty of tummy rubs.

AAAAAAAAAAWwwwwwww!!!!Sassy you wiggled your way into everyones heart pretty easily by the sounds of it. We also went about a year without a pet after our loss and then we got our Molly.....don't they just melt your heart????Have fun...

For some people, it seems to be helpful to get another furbaby soon after losing a previous one. I have always been one who needs time to properly grieve before doing that. I think each person knows when it is "time". Clearly Sassy III came into your mother's life at the right time for her. I congratulate everyone involved because this little one couldn't be more adorable.

This is a beautiful puppy!! I have a black lab - border collie mix, Boomer, that we got when he was 8 weeks old & he looked exactly like your puppy!! He's 10 1/2 yrs old now & still as rambunctious as the day we got him.. He's a great dog & WONDERFUL w/ kids!! Enjoy your puppy :)

Sassy is gorgeous! She resembles my lab mix with the white-tipped paws and white patch on the chest. The love and desire to please just radiates from her in this picture. No dog can replace another but they each bring their own special qualities to fill your life with love.
