Sebastian is a lover, never passing up a chance to lick someone's face! He loves to run around the yard and play with our eight-year-old golden retriever, Buddy. Being a water dog, he likes to sleep next to his water dish and dunk his whole nose in when taking a drink of water! We hope to one day train him to be a therapy dog so that he can touch other people's lives as much as he has ours.

that is great that you want for sebastian to be a therapy dog. i work in a hospital, and when the dogs are there, the whole place is a lot more uplifting - the patients are very comforted and cheered up by their presence... sebastian will make a big difference in a lot of people's lives. looking at his eyes in these photos, it looks like he has what it takes to be a wonderful therapy dog.

It is so hard to capture their gorgeous expressive faces on film. You did a good job. This has been the breed for me since I first laid eyes on one and threw my arms around that big neck. It seems Sebastian has already started his therapy career judging from all the previous comments. I sure know that if I were ill his eyes, nose and soft fluffy fur would make me feel better. Wow, Sebastian is the spitting image of my eldest Newf Murphy who is 9. He has the white gremlin stripe, albeit now is only probably half a dozen white hairs in the middle of his head. Your picture takes me back to when mine were both puppies, oh how soft are the velvety bellies of puppy newfies. Enjoy him, hes lovely. Still gorgeous and soft looking.

I wrote a long comment about how much I love and adore Sebastian and how awesome Newfies are, etc...and for some reason it didn't post! :( Anyway, to recap: this is by far one of the cutest dogs I've ever seen in my life and I love his white splotches ----soooooo soooooo sooooo precious! I've been obsessing over wanting a Newfie for quite a while now and I'm so jealous! But I wish you lots and lots of happiness together and I wish Sebastian a very long and healthy life. He's simply gorgeous and perfect!
