Puppy Breed: Australian Shepherd

Teddy's mom says: Teddy was a belated Christmas gift from Santa who came to live with us on New Year's Eve. We named him Teddy because when he yelps/sings he sounds like Theodore from the Chipmunks cartoon. Everyone in the house loves him -- except for the nine-year-old resident Aussie, who finds him annoying. At seven weeks he is proving himself to be very smart. He can sit on command and is learning to fetch. Teddy loves trips to the family farm and attacking piles of dirty laundry.

I agree--excellent photos! I think you got me on the one with him walking towards the camera--a fantastic shot. Of course the subject makes the picture. I would love to see the elder ; ) Poor guy, he's probably thinking "what's so great about Teddy? I've always been the great one around here". Have tons of fun!!

You can see his self confidence develop as you go through the photos. I agree that the one trotting towards the camera is the deal clincher. Absolutely wonderful.

Well holy blue eyes and speckles! It looks like Santa, although late, was good to you! Teddy is adorable and will be a gorgeous adult! Im sure the resident Aussie will chill out once Teddy gets bigger and smarter. Smart dogs I have found have little tolerance for those who are yet to be! :)

i just love Aussies. they look like God sat them down and painted them. Teddy is gorgeous, and i think that if he got himself in trouble or was threatened in some manner that his housemate dog would be right there to help him out. after all, even though the puppy might annoy him, Teddy is "his" annoyance. He'll come around.

What great pics!!!!!! you were able to bring out this guy's vibrate personality. He's beautiful coloring is now just amazing (and your talent as a photographer only brings this out even more).
