Tucker is the best Australian Shepherd in the whole world! My dad and I bought him for my sixteenth birthday, and I've got to say, it was the best birthday I've ever had. Tucker is smart, funny, loyal and extremely eager to learn. We've only had him for about two and a half weeks and he's already learned an intimidating repertoire of tricks, including sit, stay, beg, lie down, roll over, come, shake and jump. He loves riding in cars, meeting new dogs and new people, playing in the water and jetting around all over our backyard. He's really sweet and clever and we all completely adore him. Especially me.

I have a mini Aussie who is blue merle. i've alwys thought mine was the very very best in the world, but I have to admit that Tucker gives Jazzz (my Aussie) a run for her money. This pic just shows the intelligence just beaming thru his eyes. I can't even say this is my favorite pic cuz they're all great! Congrats on the best birthday present you'll ever receive. I think they are the only soul that love you unconditionally - they don't care what you look like, how smart you are, whether you're "cool" or not. They just love you for you. This breed to me is one of the best out there in my opinion. They're so smart and so eager to please and out of all the dogs I've had, they are the least destructive. I have never had a new puppy who didnt chew up something like a shoe or a coffee table, clothing, etc. But, Jazzz has never chewed a shoe or anything else that wasn't handed to her as something she wss allowed to chew.

At the tender age of 57 and being a dog lover since I was old enough to know what a dog was, I have to say that of all the pictures of dogs I've seen, and I've seen a BUNCH of them, this particular picture of Tucker must rank in my top five. One could add a multitude of captions under this picture. Tucker is such an obviously intelligent, and handsome, lad, and he has the most beautiful green eyes. I love his coloring and the lay of his coat. My sixteen year old friend(I was sixteen, once upon a time), you received a very special birthday present, so much better than a driver's license or a car. This friend, and by now I'm sure you know he's more than just a per or dog, but your friend, will give you his love for all the days he has on this earth, and I pray it's a very long time.
I pray God gives you a very long and healthy life, filled with the love of your loved ones, most especially the sixteen year old, who I suspect is a young lady. I pray you have days filled with joy, fun, lots of things to stir your interest and plenty of places to explore. I pray you live out your days as happy as you are now; that, my doggy friend Tucker, is my prayer for you, from your ol' Uncle Jim in Kentucky. :o)
Tucker's eyes are exquisite! I'll bet he's absolutely tooo cuuute when he's getting sleepy, and his eyes start to get heavier, and hheavvierr, WHiCH it alllmost looks like is about to happen heere! hehe;)
