Lilah (short for Delilah) was born on 3/28/2008. Her mother was rescued from an animal shelter by Florida Doggie Paws Rescue. We do not know what her father is. We are thinking that Lilah is a Shepherd/Mastiff/Rottweiler Mix. Lilah came from a litter of 11! She loves chewing on everything and enjoys taking afternoon naps while we watch movies. Lilah also enjoys listening to music. It calms her down and helps her sleep at night. She is very independent and friendly and attached to us.
We adopted George in June from Adopt a Lab rescue. He rode in a van all the way from Indiana! He is truly a fantastic dog and is at the top of his class in obedience school. He is a great snuggler, a big leaner, and always wags his tail in excitement when we get home. He has brought us so much joy and we are so lucky to have found him.
Rikki (AKA Rikkibob) is a different sort of Lab. What she lacks in stature, she makes up in heart. Wild as the day is long and smart as a whip, her vet calls her a 'brush puppy' since she loves nothing better than to hunt through the tall grasses, or cover herself in sand, snow or mud. She cruises the shallows for fish and actually landed an 18" trout. When she wants more of a challenge, she attacks her 110 pound buddy, the ever patient Willie (labradoodle). And at the end of the hunting day she nestles in between our feet to dream of ever bigger game.

Despite his advanced age, Dutch is healthy and energetic. He loves going out on walks and with Spring approaching, Dutch has a bounce to his step. He is perfectly housetrained, a great walker, and an all around easygoing dude. He is best friends here with Molly, actually, she is his younger girlfriend (she's half his age!). They love to cuddle together. In fact, all of the volunteers at the shelter love to cuddle with Dutch. He puts ...
