Pocky was taken in to Animal Care and Control as a stray. She had recently had a litter of puppies and was clearly not being cared for. She was spotted by New Leash on Life, a local dog rescue, who saw that she had some training and would make a great pet. They had some trouble placing her at first, but when I met her it was love at first sight. She's very smart and loves to chase rabbits and squirrels. She also loves belly rubs and gently chewing on her stuffed animals.
My boyfriend and I found Gus at the Greenville Humane Society. His fuzzy face and laid back personality won us over in a heartbeat. He is living with us now in Clemson and is almost 4 months old! He loves to play with his mini tennis ball. Gus also attempts to hold his own against our friends dog, Anni, who is four times his size.
This is Cooper! He's a sweet, rambunctious little guy! Cooper is the celebrity dog of our neighborhood; every evening on our walks he makes new friends with other dogs and their people, and no one forgets his name or his soft, fluffy coat! He's an interesting blend of Chow Chow/miniature pinscher/Norwegian Elkhound. We're really glad he's part of our family.
