Clooney was adopted a few weeks ago from the Baldwin Hills shelter in Los Angeles. He was there with his 8 littermates and is the runt of the litter! Luckily, we spotted him at an adoption event where a rescue had taken him and his siblings in.
Clooney's favorite things include dried cow's ears, eating, trying to play with his Siamese cat brother, and snuggling.
Zena "The Bully Princess" is a 100% Johnson Type American Bulldog. She was born on February 17, 2008. Zena is a wonderful companion, she loves going to the dog park, going for long walks, playing with her other dog buddies, eating anything and just about everything, and just laying around relaxing.
This is "little" Lady. She is an American bulldog Great Dane mix. She is only about 8 weeks old and weights 16pounds. Her mom is an American bulldog Great Dane mix and weighs 130 pounds and her dad is an American bulldog and weighs 110 pounds, so she will be big. She is very sweet and loves everyone and all animals. She is not afraid of anything and loves to play in rain storms. She is a curious pup and enjoys taking shoes so she can sleep on or in them. She never chews them up. She must feel safe and secure in her home becuase she is always sleeping on her back with her belly exposed ...
Cooper is a 9-week-old American Bulldog/Boxer mix. He was bottle fed because his young mama rejected him and his sister at birth. A wonderful rescue group called Pawsibilities nursed him and loved him into the wonderfully confident little guy he is today. We just adopted him on December 23rd and our 3-year-old son and Cooper have become the best buddies ever!
Leuka is a DEAF boxer mix. I acquired her after a nice lady rescued her from being euthanized (just because she is deaf!). She is a GREAT dog, and proof that deaf dogs can lead happy, normal lives. She knows how to read my body language to relay "good dog" and "no" and she also knows some hand signals for "tricks" (sit, down, shake and roll-over). I really hope that Leuka and I can one day educate people on deaf dogs to help new owners train their dogs and help deaf dogs in shelters find homes easier and faster!
