Charlie was rescued at 8 weeks old. He and his brother were the only ones that made it from their litter, as their mom was so small. Charlie is now a little over 4 months, and has been exploring the outdoors with wild curiosity. He loves the neighborhood dog park ("small dog lawn only please") and trying to eat leaves. He also loves any and all toys, treats, and taking long naps in any human lap. We get asked what kind of dog Charlie is everywhere we go, so we did a test. Charlie is a chihuahua/pekingese/shih tzu/australian shepard mix!
After my 13 yr. old pekingese, Sophie, had to be put down, this little pekingese bundle literally dropped into my lap.
Our Ku is not a puppy anymore. She is almost 8 years old now. We adopted her from a friend with health problems and couldn't keep three dogs any longer. She has won the hearts of my husband and I. We have had her for 3 1/2 years and don't know what we would do without her.
Noot is a sweet and friendly Pekingese. He loves chewing on his toys, chasing balls, running around in the park, and sleeping in tiny spaces (in a Frisbee, on a bathroom scale, or on top of shoes!)
