This little guy had a rough start in life! His mother was abandoned just a few days before her pups were born and she was forced to give birth at a shelter. The overcrowded shelter was going to euthanize both Mom and babies, but they were all saved by a local rescue. Everything seemed to be on the up and up, but then, all the puppies contracted parvovirus before they could get vaccinated. They spent days in urgent care, and through the work of everyone involved, were saved from their brush with death again! We want to thank all parties involved for their work in helping Gus live and finally ...

Ivy is a very rare "Lemon Japanese Chin" where we live in Alberta. There is only about 4 breeders of these in Canada, as far as I know. We love her to death, and think everyone should have one of these very special cat-like dogs. They are also, one of the cleanest breeds there is.
Bella has been adopted!
Kuma is a year old (born Dec. 2011) and came to us from Hong Kong. She's a spitting image of Zowie (also on this web site). She is obsessed with her squeaky toys and loves chasing balls. She loves ladies but ain't at all sure about dubious male types- hates workmen! Kuma displays a lot of the Japanese Chin characteristics e.g. the 'chin spin' and likes lying on her back and holding objects with her front paws. Cute? Judge for yourselves..
