Lucy, named after a character in the song "Mack the Knife," joined our family via Montgomery County, MD Animal Services (mcpaw.org). She is full of energy and love. Lucy likes belly rubs, treats and her mom singing to her.
Harriet is a rescue puppy from a small town in the Northwest Territories, Canada. Many strays roam the town, and this little gal ended up on our doorstep one chilly night (-20C) in early November. We think she was about eight weeks old at the time.
She's an energetic pup (we think there's some husky and maybe border collie going on in there) but after a couple long walks through the snow, she's ready to snuggle on a blanket at our feet.
She's also a really clever dog - I love watching her figuring out how the world works around her.
Hi, I'm CJ (Casey Jones) and I'm a hound/rot mix. Mom and dad rescued me Xmas of 07. My dad loves the Grateful Dead hence my name. I play, eat, give lots of kisses and take a nap from time to time. I love to swim and play for hours and hours with mom and dad. They take me everywhere and I love it!!!! I have a new sister who's smaller than me right now but I hear she'll be bigger than me in the near future..hmmmm I weigh 82 lbs...I'm glad mom and dad have a king size bed b/c it sounds like we are gonna need the extra room.:o)
Izzy - a multigenerational Australian Labradoodle. She is 10 months old and is a Texas Doodle! Amazing in motion - her coat is red fleece. Happy, bouncy and full of energy.
Brady is almost 9 months old. He loves his walks and loves to play. Brady's favorite toy is his Giggle ball. he loves to chase it. Brady also likes to run--grabbing anything he can and having his mom chase him all around!
Alexis is an 11 lb., 2.5 year old chocolate cockapoo who loves life! Whether she's chasing squirrels, rabbits, a ball or our 15 lb. cat Bentley, her enthusiasm and exuberance is a joy to all! She loves sitting up on her hind legs and looking cute, in hopes of getting treats; cuddling; tummy rubs; coming to work with me at a local university and hanging with students, faculty, and staff; and travel. She recently visited Provincetown with us and was an absolute rock star on Commercial Street!
