After we lost our beloved Pluto at 14 years,11 months, we thought we'd wait a year to get another dog. But Pluto's spirit directed us to check the Doggie Protective Services rescue site, and we saw this FACE. She was picked up as a starving stray in SoCal after having a litter of puppies. She was in a shelter for a month, DPS NoCal foster care (they named her Dottie) for 2 weeks, and then found us. She was very shy and quiet, but now she talks and sings and befriends every single human she meets (and most dogs). We named her Ellie after the little girl who became a woman in the movie ...
Hi I'm Pepper! My parents named me that because of the black spots on my nose. I love long hikes, playing fetch, hiding my toys in strange places and jumping over things way taller than me! I'm super smart and can't wait to grow up into a really great doggie.
Dakota is a Golden Retreiver and Border Collie mix. I adopted dakota when he was only 2-1/2 months from a animal shelter in Utah. He's my baby..
Paisley was born on Feb. 12, 2016 at the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri. Her mother and father were said to have been either border collie or an American bulldog, so she is quite possibly a mix of both. As of May 12 she had weighed around 14.6 pounds and is steadily growing. She is said to only grow to the lower half of the medium dog scale, so she won't be terribly huge. Other than that, she loves to fetch, swim, play frisbee, but is still a little rusty with the house training.
