We first fell in love with Duncan when we saw him as an adoptable puppy from shady creek rescue on Dailypuppy.com on Thursday, March 4th. We were so fortunate to be able to adopt him. He is the perfect puppy. He loves to run around outside and chew on any stick he can find, as well as jump and roll in piles of leaves. He loves to play fetch with his footballs, blue ball, and baseball, chasing them down with his overexaggerated run (which is kind of like a hop). He is very friendly and playful to everyone he meets. It took us years to get over the loss of our first dog, Zoe, a
beagle/chihuahua mix, who lived 16 spunky, lovely years. We werenââ¬â¢t even sure we were ready for another, but then one day we stopped at the animal shelter....and...well, you know what happens when you do that! We knew we wanted another small yet tough pup with a big personality. And we found her! Daisy is a beagle/rat terrier mix. She was 7 months old when we adopted her, and obviously hadnââ¬â¢t been trained at all. ...
Buckley (formerly known as Scooter) was adopted in early February, 2010.
He was our foster, but we couldn't imagine life without him, so we adopted him.
He now shares his life with our two shiba inu and is such a fun little guy!
Milton is a 13" red and white beagle who we found through a beagle rescue in Illinois. When he was just a pup, his elderly owners had to give him up because of their own health issues. He was adopted into a home but the placement did not work out and he was returned to his foster mom. When we were searching for a new companion for our beagle Lizzie, Milton's foster mom found our biography and suggested that we might be a match. It has been a match made in heaven. The last year has been joyful as our family watches two playful beagles love each other up.
