Meet Jackson! Jax was adopted from Watauga Humane Society in Boone, NC on January 18, 2013. He loves his new life! His favorite things are cuddling under the covers, hiking, and playing with his friends at the dog park. He does like to get into mischief whenever he gets the chance, and he'll probably always be a big puppy at heart!
Hoss is a rescue that I picked up in early February of this year. The other Boxer in his home was attacking him and the family opted to rehome him. His name was Hostile - and it didn't fit at all. I just shortened it so as not to completely change his world. He is 85 pounds of puppy, turning 2 on Thanksgiving. Hoss had zero manners when I brought him home. He pulled on leash and didn't know "come" when called. After several training courses and lots of relationship building, we hope we will be in the ring doing rally one of these days!
I was adopted from the same shelter my brother came from. I had been at the shelter awhile, and my mom says she kept looking at my picture on the website and bugged my dad until he said they could bring me home. I wasn't too sure about them at first...I tried to run out open doors and didn't like to cuddle. After time I realized that they weren't so bad, and my brother warmed up to me after awhile. Now I like to cuddle with my brother, and sleep under 'bankies' and snuggle on the couch. My daddy likes to get me all riled up because he says I make the funniest grumble ...
Knuckles is 2 months old in this picture. He was a first anniversary gift from my husband. He is the best puppy ever!
Adopted Porsche at the pound (her name was Tiger-Lily which we changed to Porsche). They said she was a Boxer mix but we do not know with what and are trying to find out. She has web paws, she is apprixmately 5 months old and weighs 40 lbs and growing fast!
