Annabel ("Annie") is now a 9 year-old German Shepherd, but wasn't she a cute baby? She's solid black (for those who don't know, German Shepherds come in several solid colors), and she's a big girl - currently 115 lbs! Some of her favorite things are belly rubs, Frosty Paws, and riding in the car. She loves pestering her little brother Arthur, and she obeys all the rules in the house, like a good girl. She's very happy & just wants to know that we love her. She is very shy of people, and with her size & loud bark, is very scary! But at home, with her "pack", she is the sweetest angel you can imagine. She is amazingly agile for such a large dog. She can out-smart & out-maneuver her brother, Arthur, and her natural herding ability is incredible. She can quickly & easily tip him over on his back and always keep out of his reach when they are playing outside. Annie has exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, and has to have very expensive medicine in her food to keep her healthy & happy. This is a common disease in GS dogs. She is also breathtakingly beautiful. Can you tell what a proud mommy I am?? She's my best friend, and the best girl in the whole entire world, and I love her more than I can say. Kisses from momma!!
