This is Dima or Yana im not sure yet. i just got her a few days ago she was really thin but is getting alot better. i just found out that she is deaf, i dont know what to do. any advice?
Plus, the best one to give you advice is your vet! I hope you have many wonderful years with Dima! My folks had a deaf dog and were very careful not to let her run loose because she could not hear traffic. They had many wonderful years with her. Take care!!!!!!!!
oh she is just beautiful, you know a dog can read your body language so you probably wont have as much to worry about as you may think, but I am sure your vet can advise you best. Take good care of her, she is a special girl. Lots of hugs and kisses to her. She looks like a Dima to me! :)
She is precious!!! Best of luck! With lots of love, I'm sure she will be a wonderful addition to your family!!! (I think your bulldog already has made friends-By the way he is very cute too!)
awww!!! she is beautiful love her baby blues...deaf dogs can be trained like any other dog, except the deaf dog will usually follow your hand singals...she will do just fine...hope you have a long n happy life with her..kisses n hugs sweetheart.also I believe there's info somewhere on the web you can read up on bout deaf dogs.... I love her..come see my dogs n comment please.Dima you've been added to my faves list
use sign language to train her... it works well just use alot of positive reinforcement and deaf dogs are usually fragile with feelings so dont take punishment or scoldings too seriously or she will be very shy. good luck!
