"Herc" Hercules

Herc was given to my husband and I by a friend. He was just a baby at 5-6 weeks old and was so adorable! He is my first dog and I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Let alone how big he would get! He is 2 1/2 yrs. old now and over 100 lbs. and still growing!! We can't image life without him now. He's very smart, loving and very protective. His favorite things to do are sit in my lap while I'm watching TV, sleeping in our bed (had to get a king size) and most of all playing fetch with a stick in an open field where he can run free. He's a happy Rottie with an attitude and a tail ...

We have a rottie named Hercules as well, he is 2.5 years old. I was reading your post and it sounded as if you were speaking about our dog. Herc, as well call him for short, love to play, go on walks, and sleep on our bed (we will have to upgrade to a king bed soon!)

What a cutie of a puppy! I love how you kept his tail full length. I am planning to do the same with my Rottie whenever the day comes that I do get one. They just look so much prettier with their tail and plus its there for a reason. Why remove something that it was born with? I will say like from the book Black Beauty, why don't you snip off the ends of your kids noses and clip their ears to make them look smart? It doesn't make sense to remove something that was given to them. So again, I love the fact that you kept his tail. Beautiful dog.
