Jax was rescued from a downtown Atlanta cemetery when he was approximately six months old. He had been living there with his five sisters since they were very young. I worked at a dog daycare at the time, and my pregnant manager was able to catch 3 of the feral puppies. The first one was adopted by one of our clients very quickly. The other two- Jax & Ella, came to the daycare so that they could be more well socialized. Jax bonded quickly with my 2 year old Jack Russell, Cullen. As it got closer to her due date, the pressure was gaining for someone to adopt these very skittish puppies. I decided that Jax would make a great brother for Cullen, and Cullen could really help Jax gain confidence in me. So, I took him home for a trial period. Now, a year later, we're all one big happy family. With an 8 week old kitten in the mix now, Jax is very happy and almost completely rehabilitated. You would never guess that he was once completely feral. And amazingly, throughout all of this, he has never once showed an ounce of aggression. We are so thankful for our little graveyard puppy!
