We rescued Josie from Tenn Jan 31, she was heartworm positive and thought to have never lived in a house, she had puppies, and was just really a pup herself ( between 1 and 2 years old) when Memphis Area Golden Retriever took her in, she is our angel, we had just lost our 2 14 year old goldens weeks before, we are so lucky

Josie is gorgeous! Your story reminds me a little bit about our girl Kiki, she was recoving from heart worm when we adopted her she had come drug bust home. I think it is great that you have adopted dogs that are a little older lots of times people just go for the little furry puppies and overlook the older gems that also need a home.

This is our third set of rescues, Memphis Rescue was wonderful to us!!! MAGRR.ORG is the website, I have a really hard time leaving them in the Am to go to work! And then rush home !
