After seeing a PBGV dog (Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen) on a dog show I fell in love with this breed. They have tons of energy and loads of charisma. My husband said we couldn't get another dog until after our wedding, so 3 days after we got back from our honeymoon, I was on the computer looking for my PBGV. They are a rare breed, but I found Lily through petfinder.com in Denver only 2 hours away. I rushed to see her and fell in love instantly. She was from a home where she wasn't well-cared for and was stinky, matted, and had fleas. After a complete shave at the groomer (poor puppy!), she finally has grown back her hair and is cute as a button! Lily loves playing with her stuffed squirrel, playing soccer with a tennis ball, and throwing toys over her shoulder so she can go chase after them.

I too saw a PBGV on a dog show and thought "That might have to be the next dog I get!" They're adorable! Lily is so cute, I just want to give her a big hug!
