Lucky is a young poodle mix who loves nothing more than to secure a place on your warm lap. We rescued Lucky the same day as her "brother-from-another-mother" Rocky and these two are as different as night and day. Whereas Rocky is mischievous and a canine social butterfly, Lucky is quiet and loves being around people. Fortunately they are deeply bonded and get along like two peas in a pod! The day we rescued her from the shelter (along with Rocky), she came up to us at the plexiglass and placed both her paws near the bottom opening and looked up at us with pleading eyes. Did we have any other choice but to take her home with us? We've considered changing her name to "Licker" since she has yet to meet a person she didn't lick, I mean, like.
