Milo almost became a freeway victim, until a good samaritan stopped to help this beautiful young dog... -- "Iâm Milo and was hit by a car on the highway and left to die. Thankfully a nice person risked their life and got out of their car on the busy freeway to save me. I was rushed to the vet - I was bleeding and my leg was dangling from my body. The GSROC volunteers helped me have surgery and a plate was put in to save my leg. Doc says Iâll be good as knew soon and back to my spunky 3 year old self. Donations are urgently needed as the surgery estimate was over $3000. If you can please send a donation to help with my medical expenses, I will be forever grateful." Milo is recovering nicely in his foster home. He will enjoy a normal life once his leg mends, but he will never be a marathon runner. Heâs 65 lbs, neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped, good with other dogs and ready for some lovinâ! He was a favorite of the vet staff because of his sweet nature!
