We adopted Otis from a shelter in a rural area near our home. It was heartbreaking to see how many dogs are in the shelters waiting for loving families. It was hard not to take them all home. Otis captured our hearts, so he is the one we brought home. He is four months old and was left at the shelter at 12 weeks with three litter mates. Otis is a sweet dog that became part of our family right away. He is learning commands like sit and stay very well. We realized when we let him run free in our large yard it was likely the first time he'd ever gotten to run. It was obvious he loves it! He enjoys playing for hours with her sister, Opal, who we adopted two years ago. Together they make a great dog duo!
