Pete is a full blooded chihuahua. His full name on his papers is Peter the Great. He is a whopping 6 pounds. Pete was my very first 'inside' dog. He is very contrary when it comes to new people. It usually doesn't take him long to get to know someone though. He loves dog cookies and sits up so cute when he wants one!

It's funny because Maya is Daddy's dog, Xena is Mommy's dog and Pete belongs to whomever happens to be giving out the dog cookies at the time. He is smarter than the other two. I guess it comes with age. If the girls start playing too rough and 'disturbing' him, he'll stand up suddenly and bark real loud. They both go running out the doggy door barking their heads off. Then Pete lays back down and laughs at them.
