My mum had rastus before she had me, so we grew up together. He was a very loyal and loving dog, but slowed down a lot when he got older, but we still loved him. He left us at the ripe old age of 18. We're not exactly sure what breed he was, but I think there's some australian terrier and irish wolfhound in there.

Rastus is such and unusual name! i love it and him. I'm sorry he passed but he lived a really long time! He was so very cute AND adorable!

Rastus sure lived a long life! I know of only one dog that lived to 18 years. how great that you had him for so long. I know it's hard when you lose them because they are really family members! I'm sure you are glad you have so many happy memories of this happy fella!!!
