Samson is a longhair English Cream dachshund. I have heard that long haired dachshunds are supposed to be more mellow than short haired dachshunds. I don't know if thats true, but our new puppy Samson is the sweetest and most mellow puppy I have every seen. He is the complete opposite of our other dachshund, Topher. Since we brought him home, all Samson wanted to do was be held and snuggle with us on the couch. He is not interested in chasing balls or squirrels..... He is 100% a lap dog. We have been looking for a brother for our other dachshund, Topher, for a long time, and Samson is the perfect match. Their opposite personalities make for a complete family. We love our fuzzy little man with his beautiful cream fur!
