Schultz is a gorgeous 2 year old male who was found running the streets by a police officer. He is very friendly and would enjoy an active household. Schultz knows some basic commands -- Schultz was found by a compassionate police officer when he got a call of a stray running loose in the city. Instead of waiting for animal control to arrive, he took matters into his own hands and caught the dog. Schultz did not hesitate to hop right into the back seat of his patrol car and assume the role of "K9"! After all attempts to find the owner were diminished, the officer contacted the rescue and informed us of his plight. He wanted to make sure this young dog that he was so fond of was going to be placed in a good, loving home, and requested that he be taken into the safety net of GSROC. Schultz is a classic male, approximately 2 years young, and is in good health. He needs to learns some manners on the leash, but rides exceptionally well in the car! He is a leaner, and will bond to his people very quickly. Schultz also appears to be very athletic, and he likes to give doggie "hugs". If you're a jogger, this is your boy!!! Schultz has expressed that he is not fond of small dogs and we believe he feels the same way about cats. He is also picky about the larger dogs that he meets. He has an extremely high prey drive, and needs an active household to keep him busy so he stays out of trouble! We are asking a $300 adoption donation for Schultz plus $25 donation for microchip fee. If you are interested in meeting him, please complete an application online and contact chowski681@yahoo.com for more information and our site is: http://www.gsroc.org/
