Miniature Schnauzer

When my landlord told me I could get a dog, the first breed that came to my mind was a westie. I had talked my mom into getting one when I was younger and I've always had a special intrest in them. But I've always felt strongly about adopting animals without homes instead of paying a fortune for a dog that it guarenteed a home whether it's with you or not, so I decided to check out my local humane society and animal shelters first. As soon as I saw Sophie, I knew I had to save her! It is beyond me how someone with a sweet girl as perfect as Sophie could just let her go and never look back, but that's their loss and I've gained a lot from it. I'm not sure exactly how old she is, although we're sure she's still a puppy, just a little under a year old. We aren't sure what breed she is either, we think she's a mix of a wirehaired fox or welsh terrier and a schnauzer. She is a very playful and affectionate pup, and very smart too. Her favorite things are her chewie toys and stretching out on the bed. She loves everyone, people and pups alike and gets along with anything or anyone she meets.

She's beautiful! There's no explaining some people's actions, but this situation worked out wonderfully for both you and Sophie. Have a long & happy life together!

Thanks for adopting Sophie, she sounds like a great fit for you. This special girl was meant to be yours. Their loss is your wonderful gain. :)
