Spike was my first Cocker Spaniel. When he was born, he had a cow lick that caused a "mohawk" on his little head, it was soooo cute. He was also the runt of his litter. He died just before his first birthday, but will never be forgotten. Everyone who saw him, fell in love with him.

Spike is so cute! I am so sad that you lost him so young. We had a female buff cocker spaniel, Puddles, who looked a lot like Spike. She died almost 3 yrs ago, at the age of 11, from cancer. We still haven't replaced her, although our daughter moved back home with a kitten.

thank you for your kind words, I have his ashes along with his favorite toy and picture on my mantle, and still talk to him and about him every day. He was my baby boy.
