All in the Family

Chinese Shar-Pei

I used to have a Chinese Shar-Pei named Stella. She shared much love with our family for ten years. On Monday, 24 August, 2009, we had to put her down. She was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer that was shutting down her organs at the beginning of July, and it was clear that the treatment wasn't working. We made the decision to put her down and it was a very difficult experience, she was my first pet. I miss her and her squishy face very much. I hope you enjoy the pictures of my baby. RIP Stella.

I am so sorry and I know that is the hardest decision in the world to make. I absolutely hated it when my little man had CHF and kidney failure. I still cry about it and it was back in 2005. She is very beautiful and she will live in your heart forever!!

I am sorry so for your loss; our family lost our first Shar pei last year. I know the pain will be there a while, but know Stella is always with you. I am sure (as with all family members) she loved you very very much. In time I hope the loneliness lessens and you will consider opening your heart to adopting a rescue Shar pei (
