Mr. Bean the Basset Hound
Mr. Bean parades around the local neighborhood, although his hound dog nose makes it hard for him to even make it around the block without stopping several times to sniff, sniff and yes, take several rest breaks. Spanning 10 inches long, Mr. Bean's ears attract the attention of numerous admirers throughout the neighborhood. In fact, several people have stopped Mr. Bean on one of his hound hunts just so they can snap his picture. And Mr. Bean adores the attention! Unfortunately, Mr. Bean hasn't quite grown into his large ears, so they tend to get very dirty and they can even cause him to trip quite a few times. While Mr. Bean looks forward to his long walks around the neighborhood, Mr. Bean really prefers snuggling on the couch and taking a long afternoon nap. Actually, he usually enjoys several naps!

Briar the Labrador Retriever Mix
Briar is a lab mix, and typical of a lab he is happiest chasing a ball or going for a swim. He loves everyone he meets. He even loves going to the vet (he actually pulls us inside). We recently found out Briar has an aggressive cancer. We have been told he only has a few more months but we'll keep throwing balls and going for long walks as long as he is able.

Kaiah the Mixed Breed
Kaiah is courageous, sweet, and sometimes rebellious. Her name is Hawaiian and stems from the Native American word which means, "Rare Beauty." She goes by Kaiahkinz, Kaikulz, Doodle, Cytokinz, Kai Pie, or Kai Kai (whichever one comes to mind first). Her favorite toy is her unstuffed hedgehog (aka The Skin of Hogemen). Kaiah absolutely loves all animals (especially cats)! When you’re sad, she acts silly and does funny things like pushing her nose into your tickle spots to make you laugh. Kaiah can be a little submissive sometimes when it's time to put her collar on or take a ride in the car. She is a very fast learner but gets distracted very easy. Kaiah is so sweet; I could never live without her! :)

Abbey the Labrador Retriever
Hi! My name is Abbey! I just got adopted by a new family, and I love my new home! I was happy to get out of foster care (and out of the pound!), and now I have a nice house with a big backyard to run in. I like to spend my spare time eating chewies, playing with my favorite toys, and playing fetch. My best friend's name is Bella, she is a golden retriever that is a one year old, just like me! We love to play together. Sometimes, when I think no one is looking, I like to sit on the couch and pretend I'm a human. I also really like taking long walks on the University of Oklahoma campus.

Doedie the Mixed Breed
This is Doedie. She is a Maltese x Pappillon although we are not sure whether this is correct as she seems to be more terrier like than Maltese. She is a gorgeous 18 month old pup who loves attention. She can not resist going for a bike ride and munching on her favorite bone. Her toys are never far away and those birds and bats better watch out, she sure knows what she is doing. She loves to play fetch and aims to please the family, sitting, lying down, staying, leaving alone, rolling and even jumping endlessly on command. She is a vibrant bundle of energy that can never be missed. Her well behaved manner is rewarded with love and hugs and kisses all day long. She is spoiled rotten and is the best puppy anyone could ask for.
