Britten the Mini Dachshund

Britten's mom says: Britten is my seven-month-old longhaired black-and-tan miniature dachshund. I got him back around Halloween when he was a four-pound bundle of love. He's grown into a rambunctious and cuddly 11-pound hot dog with a bark big enough to scare the mailman and a coat as soft as bunny fur. We live in the great frozen wasteland of Troy, New York. Britten loves treats, chasing balls, playing dead, giving and getting sloppy kisses, and collecting socks and underwear from the bedroom. He gets constant belly rubs and even spends days at my job where he distracts coworkers and customers alike!

awww Britten is so cute! I love dachshunds -- I have a wirehaired one myself. :D They are such great dogs.
Seven months old is still very much of a puppy!...I don't think he's quite a "grown-up" yet. :P

He is so gorgeous and looks really sweet!!! I love the picture of him with his paws over his muzzle...dachshunds are such little clowns. :P
I myself have a miniature wire-haired dachshund who is my favorite person in the whole world...i can't imagine living without a dog. Many of our extended family members have/have had long-haired dachshunds, and they are just amazing as well.

What a gorgeous fella and I love the picture of him hiding his eyes. We have a dachshund/terrier and he is the joy of our lives as well. Dachshunds are such clowns. Britten is so lucky to have a mommy like you who can take him to work with her. Huggs and Kisses for that little nose.

So cute! Is it just me or do all dachshunds think they are 11 feet tall? but still, wonderful! The face hiding thing, adorable!

Britten is adorable!!!
He reminds me of my mini-long hair black/tan, Dago Luigi Pisano!!!
He was taken much toooooo soon, but was the best!!!!!
Now I have 2 smooth mini's, (brothers) Riley and Pisano and just love'm.
