Carson's mom says: We found Carson at a Washington humane society when we were searching for a new family companion/guard dog after our older dog was no longer able to get up and around comfortably. Once we saw his huge ears and friendly demeanor, we knew we had found a match. He is currently having some anxiety issues since the passing of our other dog, but we are working through them. He really loves cats, and very small dogs (which we suspect he thinks are cats until he gets a sniff). Once Carson sees a cat all he wants to do is play! Carson's favorite toy is his squeaky ball which he would carry around with him everywhere he goes if we would let him. Our puppy is super smart and can figure out how to do anything; once he even found where we hide his toys when we want him to be calm. He managed to open the cupboard and pull out the basket then dig down to the bottom to get out his squeaky ball. When our older dog was with us, Carson helped him go from 13 to three again, really bringing out the puppy in both of them. We love this dog and he has become such a wonderful addition to our family. We couldn't imagine our lives without him now.
