Chelsea's sister says: Chelsea and I look alike -- we both have
red hair. When I was ten years old, my dad picked Chelsea out for
us from a friend. Her real mother had been a golden retriever and
her father an Irish setter.
ooooh!!! I used to have a Golden/Irish Setter mix myself! He was such an awesome dog, but a little dopey :) Same color as yours, but he had more Irish setter in his face than Golden. Wonderful animal! Chelsea is beautiful and looks like a lot of fun!
What a beauty.
I just love the fourth picture.
Its a wonderful and awsome dog.
She looks smart, kind, and looks like she has
an intellegence, and agood heart to love.
This girl looks like the one I take care of. I've always wondered if she has some setter in her cuz she's such a red color compared to goldens. Chelsea even has some of her mannerisms thru these pictures. Chelsea is a beauty. I love goldens they are awesome. I have never really come in contact with setters but I'm sure they are great too! Best to all of you! Love all the pictures too!!! :)
The official breed name for an Irish Setter and Golden Retriever is 'Golden Irish' it is an official Hybrid and you can find information at http://www.dogbreedi nfo.com... it is very interesting .... check it out .....
That dog looks excactly like my first dog Marshall! He died a couple years ago and have recently been trying to find out what breed he is and I think he was Irish Retreiver! She is really adorable!
I saw your first picture and teared up a bit. She looks just like our last farm dog that recently passed away. She was the best dog i could have ever asked for, especially considering she was free with a doghouse and lived until the age of 16. Beautiful dog!!
Oh my goodness!! She's smiling! I know this because we have a golden retriever, setter mix and his smile is just the same, sometimes both sets of his teeth show. He is lighter in color though than the setter! I have to post a pic of him later!
I am looking for a Golden Irish puppy and I only found one kennel that breeds them, but they were selling them for $1,500. Does anybody know where I could get a Golden Irish puppy for a better price?
