Dog Breed: Dachshund

Oscar's mom says: Oscar was the best Christmas present my fiance and I have ever received. He has been like a child to us in every respect. Oscar's favorite things to do are play fetch, sleep, and bark at his reflection. He makes everyone that he meets melt because he is so darn cute and he isn't shy about giving LOTS of kisses.

I always had Dachshunds like this when I was growing up, and they were all wonderful dogs. From the sounds of it Oscar displays all the characteristics people love about Dachshunds, loyal, playful and loving dogs that also keep you warm on a cold night. He looks like a real sweetheart.

He is a very Good Dog. These guys are very good friends of mine and I have known the dog since they got him, and everytime I see him he goes right for my ears and likes them like crazy, especially my right one haha.

wow! he is such a doll and he looks soooo much like my little doxie boy, malachy! they have the same coat color, and facial expressions. My malachy boy also gazes out the window like your lil oscar! aren't weinie dogs simply the best most loving dogs ever?

What a cute little fellow-- I love that cute face in the 1st pic with his floppy ears and his short little legs and that wonderful nose-- I love the pic of him looking out the window he looks so alert.
