Pushok's dad says: We found Pushok on the street, while traveling in Crimea, Ukraine. He was about two months old a happy-go-lucky puppy roaming freely on Chekov Street, Yalta, eating garbage and scraps at every corner. Since he is a very friendly pup given to comic performances, he managed to charm the locals, who fondly named him Pushok, which means something like "feather" in Russian. When Pushok saw Elizabeth on the street, they both stopped in their tracks and ran to each other in a gesture worthy of the finest wide-screen performance. Such magic beginnings could only have a happy ending. Two days later, all three of us were on the plane back to U.S, Pushok with his new international passport.
