Emma was found in the bush with baling wire around her muzzle. That was 13 years ago. She is the smartest dog we have ever had and she and I share an uncommon bond. Recently, she has developed, on her own, without training, into a bio-detection dog for diabetic hypo glycemia unawareness-she wakes me up when my blood sugar becomes dangerously low! So we've come full circle: we saved her 13 years ago and now she has saved me!
