Chester is a Boston/Rat Terrier mix. He had pneumonia as a young pup but you'd never know now. He loves playing ball, but you can't just throw it - he gets bored. You have to hit it against a wall, hit it with a tennis racket or bat, or kick it. And just forget about frisbees! It is extremely difficult for him to tear himself away when he's playing with one. He is very smart and usually listens very well. He does have his terrier moments, though, when he fixates on something and doesn't hear me. But that's a small price to pay to have such a great little guy!
