In Loving MemoryIn Loving Memory

Cody was my first puppy and my first best friend. Our family welcomed him into our home when I was just seven years old. He was extremely sweet and always well behaved.. just the perfect dog. Well, except for the time he ripped open a bag of potting soil, rolled in it, and dragged it all over the house! A fresh tennis ball was his toy of choice, always carrying as many as his mouth allowed. He loved ripping the fur off of them and chewing the ball until it popped in two. Every Sunday he enjoyed going for long walks at our local state park, especially in the winter. He loved rolling around in the snow, even when he aged and his joints were giving in, he still laid down and rubbed his face in the snow. As he aged and his face began showing touches of white, he became more handsome. Cody crossed the Rainbow Bridge on October 6th, 2008. It's been hard living without him, but looking at pictures of him and talking about him with those that also loved him helps keep the memory of him alive.
