Skuggi (Icelandic for Shadow) is our too-smart-for-us rescue dog. We got him when he was a little over a year old because his previous family got tired of bailing him out when he escaped. He knows how to open dead bolt locks, refrigerators and child safety locks. He is a part-lab that doesn't like to swim or play fetch but we love him still. He is 9 years going on 9 months and keeps us laughing.

In Loving MemorySkippy was my first dog as an adult. He loved to ride on our shoulders and meet people. He was about 14 years old when he died and is still missed today.
