Profile: Hi, Im recently retired from the AF and living in Alaska. I'm from Wisconsin but decided to stay in Alaska. We have taken our dogs all around the globe with us - once we adopt a pet they are part of our family for LIFE. We have three dogs adn two ferrets and i'm sure soon we'll have a cat despite my allergies. I love animals and around here.. the chihuahua Tucker (aka DogFather) runs the household. Everyone gets along and plays together and its always interesting. Loki and Bandit (the ferrets) come out and play every day and thats when the real fun begins... ever see a ferret adn german shepherd play tag? Or have your german shepherd give one a piggy back ride? Or if he doesn't want the ferret in his food - pick up the ferret by the scruff of the neck and place him gently on the couch next to me as if to let me know to not let the ferret by his food while he's eating. LOL the chihuahua's are in their senior years and require a little extra care and love - it gets expensive but we love them to death.

My name is Madison and I'm 12 years old. I'm a full blood long hair chihuahua. A girl never tells her weight but its around 3lbs. I've had the greatest life, getting the royal treatment and everything my little heart desires. I have a two bigger brothers, Tucker (chihuahua) and Blackjack (German shepherd). I also have 2 other family members named Loki and Bandit (ferret). We all get along and have lots of fun. We've been all over the world! Mommy doesn't go anywhere without us. If I want something, I just put on the cute show and they can not resist! Ears perked, head cocked and go go gadget fluff! They're totally mine after that. :-) I'm far sweeter and smarter than my brothers.... I have congestive heart failure and mommy takes awesome care of me. I now am served my daily meals on my own mat on the kitchen counter. My brothers cant get to my food and i'm the only one that gets the special canned food. DRIVES MY BROTHERS NUTS! I am treated like a queen - like i should be! Now that I've had the royal treatment there is no go back and I make sure mom knows it. I dont think she knows that i know that there are quite a few meds in my food, but they make me feel great so I eat them anyway. She pounds them up into a powder and then mixes it into my food. Its mmmmm good. Mom says i snore like a freight train, but i think she's lying because a princess NEVER snores. Mom now carries me just about everywhere. We go on a hike and she carries me - as it should be! I love to give her kisses and my favorite place is to cuddle up with her and fall asleep on her chest. Its fantastic. I love to dance when i can... i always spin to my left. I get excited, i'm happy, i want to play - its always to the left. Not sure why but when i dance its always to the left. I'm ALWAYS happy and full of love. I'm NEVER cranky like my brother - or moody. Shhhh dont tell my brothers but i'm pretty sure i'm the favorite!View Profile
Hello...My name is Tucker and I'm 13 years old and about 10lbs. I'm not fat-really, i'm just built like a jack russell terrier and about the same size. You should have seen my mother - Her name was Spike and my Dad was Budafuko (sp). I used to be all black and with dark brown markings like a rottwieler. However, I'm turning gray and white.... mommy says it makes me more distinguished. My nose was black but mommy says i'm wearing out my sniffer and that's why its turnng pinkish white. I think i can smell just fine - dont know what she's talking about. I am cranky, but I do have lots of love to give. However i hear that people with a lot of arthritis get cranky too - so ppppttthhhh!! On my good days i'm little spit fire. I keep telling mom i'm really human and should be treated like one but despite all her love and being a sucker she hasn't quite grasped that concept yet. They call me the DogFather because i run the household. Nothing goes on around here without my say so. I have quite the personality. I have been humping my "love bears" since the first day i came home at 6 weeks. I will play with you and have my own version of ding dong ditch. Its a little smelly tho. Ha ha ha. Anyone messes with mom, and i'm sure to exact my revenge. I have to stand up and protect mom you know. I 'AM' the man of the house you know. Dad just thinks he does. I mean i am the DogFather... i have a reputation to uphold. I love to go on rides and go for walks. Very short ones tho. Dang Arthritis. Living in Alaska doesnt help any, but mom got me my very own heated blankets. One for my doggy bed and one for the couch. Hey, she gets one so why wouldn't I? One day, the neighbors left thier turkey dinner on the deck to cool. I went outside, walked up their deck and grabbed me a turkey leg. I brought it down to share but mommy met me at the door and the look on her face was priceless. So i looked at her as sweet as possible and just barely wagged my tail - not sure what her reaction would be. She started laughing. she told me i was wrong for doing that and took it away. But then she returned the meat to me without the bone. Now that's service i tell you. That's how i should be served every day. However, I haven't found any neighbors leaving fresh cooked Turkey Dinners laying around lately. Who leaves them outside in the Alaska winter anyway? I mean, it could have gotten cold - totally unacceptable. I"m nothing like my sister Madison, she relies on her good looks and sweetness to win people over. I, however, just demand it like any ruler would. Every now and then i gotta pull out the super sweet and cute look. Mommy says i have a Napolean complex, i dont know what that means but it gets me lots of hugs and kisses and treats so it must not be a bad thing!View Profile
