Add to FriendsHi, I'm Royal, a 3 yr old Siberian Husky. Some interesting facts about me: I was born on New Year's Day, I was the daily puppy on March 19, 2007 (http://tinyurl.com/yhtn96s), I got my Canine Good Citizen certification when I was 8 months old, and I've lived in 3 states! I am very creative, and like to decorate. My favorite medium is garbage, but I also like to use dirt, stuffing, and I even worked with a bag of used diapers once! Some of my favorite things include: digging, dissecting, playing in mud & water, my brother Brock (he's my idol), wrestling with my sister Alki, playing with other dogs, running, giving kisses, hunting for critters, going on walks, exploring new places, and just plain having fun! I also write a blog with my brother & sister (http://puppyroyale.blogspot.com). Woo-woo-woooo!
View ProfileAlki is a typical pit bull; very cuddly and affectionate, always aiming to please, a joy to train, and ever playful. She has the most expressive deep brown eyes, and perfect white blaze on her nose. She also has a cute little under bite, and deadly whip for a tail! She is very intense and high drive when shes focused on a task. She lives for fetch and tug, and these are her biggest training rewards. She will run until she collapses and is an amazing jumper. But is equally content to curl up on a chair and snore away for hours, preferably in the company of a human. She loves physical contact and I love having a 55 lb lap dog. When she is really happy to see you (which is pretty much all the time), she lets out the CUTEST "roo-roo-roo" howl! She will entertain herself for a long time bouncing around tossing a toy for herself. She appears to have been physically disciplined by her former owner and often used to cower down or roll on her back when she thought she was in trouble, but now she never does this. It makes me so happy and proud to think of how trusting and confident shes become. The dog I met the day I adopted her is nothing like the dog I know today. She can still be a bit shy in new situations, but has made amazing progress, and wants very badly to trust people despite the abuse she experienced the first year of her life. View ProfileBrock is a typical aussie- a good mix of both business and pleasure. When he is "on" he is all business- watching for squirrels and crows, on walks and at the dog park, sniffing to see who was where and when, surveying the world, etc. But he is also able to switch "off" and show his goofy, fun loving, playful side. Seeing him run full speed in front of a trail of 4 or 5 dogs at the park, tongue flapping out the side of his mouth, seeing his little nub wag, and watching him jump fences at the dog park just for the pure joy of it, brings me indescribable amounts of happiness. He is the light of my life. Brock is a little bit of a bad ass, and is very often a complete jack ass to other dogs for no reason other than he just didnt want to be sniffed, or doesnt like they way they look or smell! And quite frankly, I adore that about him. He absolutely has a mind of his own, and is beyond intelligent. He is not like a lab or a golden. He doesnt need someone to tell him what to do all the time. He isnt needy or clingy. But he absolutely adores me, and I him. He enjoys swimming, walks, playing "find it"- scavenging for hidden treats in the house, chewing, digging, dissecting stuffies and cardboard boxes, hiking, herding dogs at the park, chasing crows, squirrely hunting, catching flies, rolling in the grass and of course smelly and/or dead things, playing tug, humping golden retrievers, camping, snowshoeing, going to the beach, meeting new people, and basically being where the action is.
