Zoe was around 6 weeks old when she gave me those sad puppy eyes from her kennel in the pound, she was the smallest one in there with only a day or so left to live. I knew the first time I seen her, I'd be taking her home. Now she is growing beautifully, she's extremely smart & sweet, she knows a number of commands & absolutely loves kids. Her favorite game is tug of war, she'd play that all day if she could. She can always cheer me up just being her ornery self, I'm so glad I get to be part of her new life as well as being able to have her be a part of mine. :)

I've had Ginger since I was 6, she's a very sweet dog with more energy than most at 14 years in age. She's spoiled & is a bit of a bed hog but I love her to pieces. She follows me everywhere, we call her my lil shadow. Recently she ran away while I was on vacation, I began my search for her as soon as I got home & 10 days later we got the call, now she is safe at home without a scratch :)

In Loving MemoryIn Loving Memory

It's a long story but here's what happened to my childhood best friend.. I was around 8 years old when my mom took me with her to pick up my grandmothers poodle from the vet, walking by the cages one in particular caught my eye, curled up in the back of the cage was a little pup named Mitzy, she was watching me. There was something about her, I had to have her. The vet told my mom she was not for kids, she stayed as an only pet with an elderly lady. I begged my mom & she finally gave in, a week later I brought home my 'official' very first dog. She was more than just a dog to me, she was my world, my best friend.. We lived in the country so I explored the woods a lot as a kid & through it all she was right with me. She was my best friend, never aggressive towards me, always cheering me up when nothing else could, cuddling up with me (and stealing my covers), a lil goofball, she was always protective of me. It happened on March 7th 2007. I had just walked by our glass door & seen her sitting in the sun, thinking I needed to spend more time with her, I went to get my shoes on & stuff to go play with her, that's when my mom came in & told me that some guy sped down our drive way & had hit her, got out, realized he was at the wrong house & drove away. My lil girl was laying on the ground, she couldn't move but she was alive. We laid her on a board, put a blanket on her & went to the nearest vet. They said it was to late, that when the wheel had hit her, it pushed her organs up to far & caused internal bleeding. Wanting to see if there was any other way, we went to a different vet, on the way she started bleeding & even with them seeing how bad she was when we got there, they made us wait. She was in my lap, I was stroking her back when I realized she wasn't breathing, I waved my hand in front of her face & got no response. I couldn't find my voice to tell my mom, my legs were shaking so bad & I started bawling. We ran up to the desk & as we handed her over she gasped & looked at me one last time before she left me.. I went back & seen her body for the last time, touch her little floppy ears, ran my fingers over her little chunky paws. Crying so hard I could barely see, I took off her collar, kissed her on the head & said my last goodbye.. .I love you Mitzy. R.I.P.
