In Loving MemoryIn Loving Memory

Sugar was a Siberian Husky, Labrador Retriever cross. I called her Suga, Suggy, Sugar Bear, Suggles, Snuggles, Sugarry, Powder Suga, Lil' Sug or Baby. She learned tons and tons of tricks that I thought she would never learn. I say this because she used to be abused, and went through 3 Foster homes. She eventually ended up at a Humane Society where I found her and took her in to my home. Sugar lived with me for almost 5 years. She was outside one day, and started acting weird. She gagged and shook all over. Then, she fell to the ground and didn't move. I could still see her chest going slowly up and down, but the thought of her getting horribly sick made me extremely scared. I took her to the emergency vet and they did a few tests. She was forming a brain tumor that was nearly untreatable. They tried to do surgery, but she died in her sleep. I will never ever forget Sugar.

Anya used to belong to my neighbor who had to move. They couldn't take Anya with them, so they posted signs all over that said "Free Keshond". I said to them.. "You know, maybe I could have her?". They were surprised. I had tons of dogs already. I had always loved Anya and her family, so they were happy that Anya had a good home. Anya's been with me for several years and I love her. I know that she misses her old family, but they visit often. I had never knew that I would love a Keeshond as a pet. I am so glad that Anya came in to my life.

Snow-Anna or Snowy is a Maltese mix that I got from the pound. I couldn't resist. She was such an adorable little girl, so I took her home. I had to take her to the vet immediately because she was a little sick from being in the cage for that long :( She ended up having a minor case of Kennel Cough. The vet said that I really shouldn't get dogs from the pound because they sometimes end up getting seriously sick. I take Snowy to the vet for checkups every couple of months, though. She is mostly healthy and a happy dog. Snow-Anna is a perfect little pooch. I love her to death and I can't imagine if I didn't get her that day at the pound. I am glad that she is not suffering anymore in that cage.

Mallie is a 7 year old Newfoundland that I found wandering the streets. She had no collar, no mircochip and no signs of once living in a home. So, I visited the vet and they cared for her for a while. After recovering, I got to take her home. I am not sure why I named her Mallie, I just did. I thought it sounded cute I guess! Mallie is a handful and we sometimes call her the drool monster. She loves mostly everyone and enjoys playing around outside.
