Rufus is a 12-year-old Lhasa Apso, or possibly Lhasa mix. He was adopted from our local shelter nine years ago when he was 3. At first he had some real attitude problems but somehow it seemed to suit him. I could never stay mad at a face like that. In his old age, Rufus has mellowed out majorly and loves cuddling, licking feet, eating (anything and everything), walks, and chasing bunnies, skunks, squirrels, birds or any other critter that dares to set foot (or paw) in his backyard.
