Profile: My name is Cherokee and I am very much a kindred spirit with dogs. They seem to really understand me and I give them a voice when I can. It's heart breaking to lose a dog, after fourteen years or just three. I take on this heart break because it is so worth it to me to feel this love for only a short time if that is all I am allowed. I will always have a dog, this is a more positive statement than having a man, but I hope to have both one day. I love taking my dog swimming, hiking, to the dog park, in the car, on walks and training in the kitchen with hot dogs. I get back ten times what I give, I just hope it is enough for her because she is a gift from God to me.

Kylie is the love of my life. After losing my two other dogs this year to health problems, I was blessed with Kylie. She sings on command, when I say, "ah momma" and she has a best friend Michael who is a nine month old Chiwawa. She loves me and she listens to me. I just give her a look and a talk and she is right back on track. She is a retriever and constantly has something in her mouth. She's like a long lost friend to me and I am thankful every day to wake up to her kisses. I can only hope she knows just how much I adore her and I try to show her everyday with gratitude and leadership.View Profile
